2. Vases for DIY Centerpieces Wedding
You can either use glass vases you have around your house, from a thrift store, or purchase new ones. Once you have gathered your glass vases of varying sizes, set them all out on a surface covered in newspaper. Next, we are ready to paint! You can use a paper plate or bowl to mix your acrylic paints until you reach the color you’re looking for. Then, stir in baking soda one tablespoon at a time until you reach a thick paste consistency.
Once your paint is all mixed up, begin brushing the paint on your vases in a thin layer. Then, wait for about 20 minutes between each coat of paint. Afterward, keep adding coats until you get your desired color and texture. After they are fully dried, spray on a matte clear acrylic sealer to keep everything in place and protect the vase so it lasts a long time. Finally, once the sealer is dried, you have all of your vases ready!

3. Flowers and Greenery for DIY Centerpieces Wedding
There are a lot of options for your DIY wedding flowers that will work perfectly for your DIY centerpieces wedding. For example, you can use faux flowers or greenery you have around your house, borrow from a friend, or buy the exact flowers you want. Consequently, some options you have are dried flowers, silk flowers, or sola wood flowers. However, for this tutorial I used sola wood flowers and without a doubt recommend them!
Once you have gathered the flowers and greenery you like, we have to prepare them to use in the wedding centerpieces. If you’re using sola wood flowers that don’t have stems attached for example, this is where the floral wire will come in. First, cut the wire stems to size. Second, use a dab of hot glue to attach them to your sola wood flowers. And then, we are ready to assemble! Next, put in a mixture of faux flowers of choice, greenery, and dried flowers until the centerpiece is as full as you would like.
Finally, if you’re happy with how your arrangement looks, firmly grab the stems of the flowers to keep them in a bundle. Then, pull out your floral tape and tape the stems together. Lastly, make sure the tape will not be visible when in the vase. This is always helpful to keep the arrangement in place when you store it. In addition, it’s quite helpful when moving the DIY centerpieces.
